BeMoon is for Persian speakers everywhere: built for the Iranian diaspora and open to anyone. These are the ideas it is built on.
Mindful, not endless
BeMoon shows one full profile at a time. You like a particular photo, clip or prompt rather than a face in a stack, and you can add a comment so they know what caught your eye. Passing is just as deliberate.
No one can message you before you match. When five people are waiting on your reply, BeMoon asks you to answer before you like someone new, so good conversations don't get buried.
There's no bio to agonise over and no compatibility score. A profile is photos, short clips, up to three prompts and the details you choose to share. Some answers, such as religion or orientation, can be hidden from your profile; hidden answers still count for filters.
Persian at heart
Your profile can show the Persian month you were born in beside your zodiac sign, where you were born and the languages you speak. This or that asks five small questions (rice tahdig or potato tahdig? Ebi or Dariush?), and Your vibe lets you pick up to five Finglish words that sound like you, from Sahar khiz to Shab zendedar.
Write in Persian, Finglish or English; each message finds its own direction. The app itself is in English today.
Fair to everyone
BeMoon gives slight priority to people others like, never invisibility to the rest. Everyone keeps getting chances and is re-evaluated as they go. Every weight behind it is a setting our team can see and adjust, not a constant hidden in code.
Pro and Max add tools, such as more filters and seeing everyone who liked you, and are shown more often. Free members are never hidden, and your plan never appears on your profile.
Private by construction
- Your exact location never leaves our servers. Others see a distance rounded to the kilometre, never closer than 2 km.
- Photos are stripped of their hidden details, including GPS location, when you upload them.
- Blocking your contacts uploads only scrambled fingerprints of their numbers, never the numbers or names.
- No read receipts and no typing indicator.
- We count what happens in the app on our own servers. There is no third-party analytics kit inside BeMoon.
- There are no public web profiles, and we never ask for your weight, surname, politics or ethnicity.
Leaving is simple
Pause your profile to stop meeting new people while your chats go on. Deleting your account is immediate and irreversible: nothing can bring it back.
